Imagine the setting— there’s the green rolling hills and dairy pastures that lead you up to Villa Blanca, on a rural country road, just half an hour drive from civilization, with acres of beautifully manicured village gardens. Surrounding the hotel’s Hacienda are 2,000 pristine acres of the Los Angeles Cloud Forest Private Biological Reserve. The soothing mist and pure mountain air add to the melodies of countless species of tropical birds in harmony for the perfect natural soundtrack.
Arriving to the Hacienda, the hotel staff, who grew up locally in San Ramon, welcome you as their personal guests to take you to your private village casita. Included within the Hacienda is the period Costa Rican décor of the main salon, with rustic stone fireplaces, the welcoming lobby bar, Aqui No Mas, and a private movie theater and game room.
Overlooking the cloud forest reserve is El Sendero Restaurant, offering the Chef’s delicious menu of locally farmed sources, in partnership with Costa Rica’s World Institute of Sustainable Gastronomy (WISG).

The Avatar Tree
With Villa Blanca’s very own outdoor setting beneath the canopy of the Avatar Tree, in convenient proximity to the hotel’s adjacent infrastructure, your Wedding Planner or Events Coordinator can arrange and design the details with you for a tropical mountain ceremony in
the very heart of the Los Angeles Cloud Forest Private Biological Reserve, named for the “silence of the angels”.

The Wedding Reception, in the stunning venue of La Hacienda, will be complemented by an experienced staff with all the services they can provide. Clients can choose from our Event Hosting options, or customize their own reception. "A Beautiful Wedding at Villa Blanca"
Recently returned from my nephew’s wedding at Villa Blanca. The ceremony was held in the chapel, and it was an absolutely beautiful setting. The wedding reception took place at the on-site restaurant, and it too was perfect. Our accommodations in a superior casita were peaceful and very restful, and we took advantage of the wood burning fireplace frequently. We can’t say enough about the staff st Villa Blanca as they were all so friendly and accommodating. Excellent food at the restaurant as well. Truly enjoyed our three night stay at this unique and lovely villa.
